How To Make A Snicker-Doodle And Become A Supporter?!

This is the first time I have ever reviewed a snicker-doodles cookie recipe and Ive only tired a couple recipes so far, including this one. So I don't have that much experience on this cookie. So its something new to embark on. I still am curious though about how these cookies got their strange name and if it means anything. I shall have to research it one day to figure it out. For now I'll just think of it as something different and unique , especially when its fun to say.

Delicious Cherry Delights

Right now you are probably thinking these are cherry tarts; however you be surprised like I am that their actually in the cookie family called cherry delights, Why is this?  Well most of us think of cookies as all looking the same or basically the same characteristics. This time the recipe has turn this cookie upside down and sideways by simply changing shape. Its a really creative way by basically making a cup like shape and adding a filling. They may look difficult to prepare, but their just as simple as a drop cookie, just dressed up more.Impressive while being the easiest to make.

Pecan Caramel Fudge Brownies

This is my favorite brownie recipe thus far. Its chocolaty, chewy and best of all fudgy. I do prefer fudge like brownies then ones with cake texture. I have used these recipe quite a few times since I found it online and I keep using it,so I must love it. Every time I make them I change it or put additions. This time I mixed in chopped pecans and caramel filling. I had leftover caramel filling from the chocolates I made so instead of wasting it I thought I add it to the next recipe.Best of all it fits in a brownie recipe and gives that sticky, crunchy, rich texture.

Delightful Sweet Treats :D

What did you think the last treat I made for Valentines Day was? Well if you've guessed homemade chocolates you were absolutely right, good on you :P. I  have always wanted to make chocolates and I have only ever tried it once last year for peanut butter cups.I wanted to really challenge myself in chocolate making for something new and just last week I was given a variety of candy molds :).So when Valentines Day's was coming around close I thought it was the best time to experiment with chocolates and hoping everything goes well.So I am very excited to make future candy and chocolates with many delicious fillings :). Ha ha I am already getting request to make more :)

Happy Valentines Day!!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!  Krysta Johnson's Doodle For My Valentine's Post! , Thank You ! Its So Cute Krysta :D Hope every one's having a good time and spreading all the love :).This day is all about being supportive and remembering who we love and care about :). The simplest things are the best kind I think such as giving someone a hug , spending time with friends or baking valentine treats to eat or give away, whatever you see fit :).

Heart Shaped Delights

Seems like love is in the air this month or it might be Valentine spirited baking that's everywhere I look . Well  its plenty good excuse to get involved and bake towards it :). You definitely don't have to be together with someone to celebrate this day because its all about spending time or remembering who we care about and love. Plus a day to bake all those cute little treats that involve red or pink lol. When I think of Valentine's I look back in elementary school days where we gave out valentine cards or even baking treats to our fellow students :).

Super Sweet Chocolate, Peanut Butter And Jam Cupcakes! :D

I baked these lovely vegan cupcakes again because there so deliciously moist and is a favorite cake to many. This time though I made my own additions to the recipe for something new and challenging. For my challenge I added a new filling combination, which was a strawberry jam paired with a peanut butter filling. If that doesn't tell you these cupcakes are rich keep reading what else I did lol. The peanut butter filling was pretty simple to whip up and its important to always sift the icing sugar to prevent lumps. For the filling I took it from another part of a recipe and collided with this one for something different. For the jam that was my own idea and basically you can use any of your favorite jams. My jam had actual chunks of strawberry,so yummy :), really great for the center of a cupcake.

Alfredo Chicken Styled Whole Wheat Pizza

I just recently made another round of amazing whole wheat pizzas because the recipe was such a big hit .This time though I turned the tables and went with a totally different topping and sauce.I wanted to challenge myself and move away from traditionally so I went with a chicken Alfredo sauce. My toppings were a combination of chicken, onions, spinach and leftover stir fry vegetables. I basically used anything in the fridge that would be edible and go well with the sauce. Surprisingly all the toppings worked pretty well and balance each other out.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies!

Someone mentioned there was no cookies in the house so that automatically means I must refill the cookie jars with treats :D. This time I was with limited ingredients such as only 1 egg and no butter. So I sought out this P.B cookie recipe by Francie, which actually only uses three ingredients peanut butter, sugar and 1 egg. So I say there great cookies for people that are allergic to gluten or cant have butter. I am neither of the people that have this issue, but I love trying out different recipes and along as it taste good I'm game. If your a peanut butter lover then you will love these because they pack a punch of flavor because its basically peanut butter holding these babies together :P. There a little fragile to the touch since they have no flour but as long as you bake them enough and let them cool completely they will be perfectly stable. They definitely have a different texture then regular peanut butter cookies, but there better in being more soft and crumbly. You

Surprise Chocolate Cupcakes!

Anytime I make cupcakes I always remember when some of my classmates in elementary school would give out treats on their birthday to all of us. I always thought that was really nice and I'm now wondering if I ever gave out cupcakes on my birthday,maybe... probably :P. Well since I started this blog I have been giving out way more treats then I ever did in the past because I am baking more and I no longer want any bake goods to go to waste.I would even volunteer to join a bake sale to lend a hand and sale some of my bake goods just to prevent it. With that way of thinking I always feel annoyed when something that's gets thrown away that's perfectly fine especially when someone puts some work into it. I think its best to give it as a gift or donate it :)
